Cochliodontiformes are an order of extinct holocephalans (historically referred to as bradyodonts) known from the Devonian, Carboniferous and Permian periods, with the possible member, Listracanthus, known from the Early Triassic. Members of the order are believed to be durophagous benthic carnivores.
