Codicote (/ˈkɒdɪkət/ KO-dih-kət) is a village and civil parish in the North Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire, England. It lies 7 miles (11 km) south of Hitchin, its post town, and 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north of Welwyn. Codicote was a small market town between the 13th and 16th centuries. The population of the parish was 3,586 at the 2021 census.
