Colleen Joy Shogan is an American author and academic who served as Archivist of the United States from May 17, 2023, until her dismissal on February 7, 2025. She was the first woman confirmed as the nation's archivist. Prior to her confirmation as Archivist, Shogan was the director of the David M. Rubenstein Center for White House History at the White House Historical Association.
