Craponne (French pronunciation: [kʁapɔn]; Arpitan: Crapona) is a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in central-eastern France. It is a western suburb of Lyon, on the border with the Rhône department.
