Luther Curtis Knight Jr. (April 14, 1943 - March 23, 2022) was an American former professional football player who was a placekicker for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League from 1969 to 1973. He is the only U.S. Coast Guard Academy player to ever play in the NFL. He was an early adopter of the soccer style kick, having played soccer in high school and college, but switched to straight-on kicking in the NFL.
