Before his professional career begun, he played college football for the Central Michigan Chippewas. Known as a dual-threat quarterback, LeFevour previously held the record for most touchdowns scored (e.g., by passing, running and catching the ball) in the history of the NCAA, with 148 touchdowns scored.
