The Heart of the Queen (Das Herz der Königin) is a 1940 German historical film, making selective use of the life story of Mary, Queen of Scots, and her execution by Queen Elizabeth I for anti-English and pro-Scottish propaganda, in the context of the Second World War going on at the time.
It was shot at the Tempelhof Studios in Berlin. The film's sets were designed by the art director Walter Haag.
