David Matthew Hodne (born 30 November 1969) is a United States Army lieutenant general who has served as the deputy commanding general for futures and concepts of United States Army Futures Command and director of the Futures and Concepts Center since 9 January 2024. He most recently served as the commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson from 2021 to 2023. He previously served as the 59th commandant of the United States Army Infantry School and chief of infantry of the Army (dual-hatted as Director of the Soldier Lethality Cross-Functional Team) from 2018 to 2021.
