Dean Edward Hamel (born July 7, 1961) is an American former professional football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Tulsa and was selected in the twelfth round of the 1985 NFL draft.
