Henry Glover was an African American resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, who was shot to death on September 2, 2005. Glover's charred body was later found in a destroyed Chevrolet Malibu parked on a Mississippi River levee near a police station.
New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) Officer David Warren was indicted and tried on federal charges relating to Glover's death, eventually resulting in an acquittal after a retrial following his initial conviction. Four other NOPD officers were charged in connection with events following Glover's death, including the burning of the body.
