Deva dynasty of Jammu

The Dev Dynasty was an important dynasty of Jammu and they ruled for many centuries in Jammu between Chenab and Ravi rivers. It was one of the many Hill States of the Indian subcontinent. It arose in circa 850 and in 1812, Jammu was annexed by the Sikh Empire.
