Dewayne Alexander is an American college football coach. He is the offensive line coach for Sewanee: The University of the South, a position he has needed since 2024. He was the head football coach at Tennessee Tech, a position he held from 2018 to 2023. Prior to Tennessee Tech, Alexander served as head football coach at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee, where he compiled a record of 41–33. Alexander played college football at Tennessee Tech from 1985 to 1987. He was named head football coach at Tennessee Tech on December 22, 2017. Alexander was fired from Tennessee Tech on November 21, 2023 after 6 seasons.
