Dickinson is a town in Franklin County, New York, United States. The population was 1,031 at the 2020 census. The town was named after Philemon Dickinson, a brigadier general of the New Jersey militia during the American Revolutionary War.
Dickinson is on the western border of Franklin County, southwest of Malone and east of Potsdam.
