The Diocese of Charleston (Latin: Dioecesis Carolopolitana) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory, or diocese, of the Catholic Church for the state of South Carolina in the United States. Currently, the diocese consists of 96 parishes and 21 missions, with Charleston as its see city. As of 2023, the bishop of Charleston is Jacques Fabre-Jeune.
The Diocese of Charleston is the seventh-oldest Catholic diocese in the United States. It is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
