Dransfeld (German pronunciation: [ˈdʁansˌfɛlt] ⓘ) is a town in the district of Göttingen, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 12 km west of Göttingen.
Dransfeld is also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Dransfeld.
