It was released as the EP's lead single on March 11, 2008, in Canada and July 24, 2008, in the United States. The song reached number 18 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and was certified gold by Music Canada for digital sales of over 40,000. It was later included on her debut album, The Listening.
