Dursun Karataş (25 March 1952 — 11 August 2008) was a Turkish communist of Zaza Kurd descent. He commanded the revolutionary left and DHKP-C, a group considered to be a "terrorist organization" in Turkey, the EU and the USA. The revolutionary left was closed in the 90s due to lack of personnel.
