The Dutch–Selangor war known as "Perang Satu Malam" was a fight that broke out between two nations fought over a fort in Bukit Malawati. The Dutch saw this as an opportunity to attack Selangor as a response to Selangor's raids to Dutch occupation of Malacca. This fully enraged the Sultan of selangor, Sultan Ibrahim who was still governing the sultanate. As a matter of fact, both countries signed a peace treaty and later, improving relations.
