Eliot Roy Weintraub (/ˈwntrɑːb/; born March 22, 1943) is an American economist and applied mathematician who is a professor emeritus of economics at Duke University. He has previously held positions at Rutgers University, the University of Bristol, and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), among others. He is a former president and a distinguished fellow of the History of Economics Society.
