Edward F. Davis III (born July 31, 1956) is the former police commissioner of the Boston Police Department, having served from 2006 to 2013, including during the Boston Marathon bombing. Following his resignation from the police, Davis has been the security analyst for WBZ-TV in Boston. He is the founder and CEO of Edward Davis, LLC Security and Management Consulting.
