In Greek mythology, Elete (Ancient Greek: Ηλετη, romanized: Êletê) was the eight Hora (Hour) who presided over the hour of prayer, the first of the afternoon work hours. She was also called Telete (/ˈtɛlɪtiː/; Ancient Greek: Τελετή, romanized: Teletḗ, lit. 'consecration')
