Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is a private university focused on aviation and aerospace programs based in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona, United States. Founded at Lunken Field in Cincinnati in 1926, it began as a regional school for pilots and aircraft mechanics. With the expansion and development of aviation and related space programs, the university enrolls almost 31,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
