Emily May Sams (née Madril; born July 1, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for the Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States national team. She plays primarily as a center back but has also been deployed at right back.

She played college soccer for the Florida State Seminoles, where she won the 2021 national championship. She played half a season in Sweden before being selected third overall by the Pride in the 2023 NWSL Draft. In 2024, she helped lead the Pride to the NWSL Shield and was named NWSL Defender of the Year.

Sams trained with the youth national team from the under-19 to under-23 levels. She was included in the squad that won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics before making her senior debut later that year.
