Equatoguinean Portuguese (Portuguese: português guineense) is the variety of Portuguese spoken in Equatorial Guinea. It is regulated by International Portuguese Language Institute and is spoken by around 1% of the population, estimated at 20,000 for the year 2024 (though population figures for this country are highly dubious).
The Portuguese language, along with Spanish and French is one of three official languages of the African nation. Making it one of six African countries to have Portuguese as an official language and the most recent one to do as such.
