Erciş (pronounced [eɾˈdʒiʃ]; Kurdish: Erdiş; Armenian: Ականց, romanized: Akants, historically Արճեշ, Arčeš) is a municipality and district of Van Province, Turkey. Its area is 2,133 km2, and its population is 171,000 (2022). It is located at the northern end of Lake Van.
