Eskinder Nega (Amharic: እስክንድር ነጋ, born 7 November 1969) is an Ethiopian journalist, blogger and politician who has been convicted several times by the Ethiopian government for treason and terrorism.
In September 2019, Eskinder founded the Balderas Party and became a chairman thereafter. A war in Amhara broke out after the Ethiopian government decided to unite the regional special forces in Amhara Region in April 2023. He then formed and led Fano's main command named Amhara People's Army since May 2023.
