Extinction Level Event (Dark Angel album)

Extinction Level Event is the upcoming fifth studio album by the American thrash metal band Dark Angel. Due for release sometime in 2025 on Reversed Records, it will be the band's first studio album since 1991's Time Does Not Heal, and their first since 1985's We Have Arrived not to be released on Relativity Records (or its subsidiary label Combat).

Extinction Level Event will also be Dark Angel's first release with guitarist (and drummer Gene Hoglan's wife) Laura Christine, following the death of Jim Durkin in 2023, to whom the album is dedicated to. Durkin receives posthumous songwriting credits for some of the album's songs, including the title track, as they were written prior to his death.
