Famen Temple (simplified Chinese: 法门寺; traditional Chinese: 法門寺; pinyin: Fǎmén Sì) is a Buddhist temple located in Famen town (法門鎮), Fufeng County, 120 kilometers west of Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. It is widely regarded as the "ancestor of pagoda temples in Guanzhong".
