Federação de Futebol do Distrito Federal (FFDF) is the governing body for football in the Brazilian Federal District. It was founded on March 16, 1959, as the Federação Desportiva de Brasília (FDB) and has undergone several name changes over the years:

  • In 1971, it was renamed Federação Metropolitana de Futebol (FMF).
  • In 2004, it became Federação Brasiliense de Futebol (FBF).
  • Since November 2015, it has been known as Federação de Futebol do Distrito Federal (FFDF).

The FFDF is responsible for organizing all official football tournaments within the Federal District, including the Campeonato Brasiliense, its lower divisions, and the Campeonato Brasiliense de Futebol Feminino. It also represents local clubs in the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF).
