Florian Schneider (professor)

Florian Schneider is a German Sinologist, political scientist, and media studies scholar. He is Chair Professor of Modern China at Leiden University and academic director of the LeidenAsiaCentre. His research interests include questions of governance and public administration in the PRC, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, political communication strategies and digital media politics in the Chinese-speaking world, as well as international relations in the East Asian region.
