Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor subunit delta is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GABRD gene. In the mammalian brain, the delta (δ) subunit forms specific GABA_A receptor subtypes by co-assembly leading to δ subunit containing GABA_A receptors (δ-GABA_A receptors).
