Galactosidase alpha is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the GLA gene.
Two recombinant forms of human α-galactosidase are called agalsidase alpha (INN) and agalsidase beta (INN). A mold-derived form is the primary ingredient in gas relief supplements.
