Gaurav Gogoi (born 4 September 1982) is an Indian politician and social worker of Indian National Congress from Assam who is serving as the Deputy Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha since 2024. He is currently representing the Jorhat Lok Sabha Constituency in 18th Lok Sabha since 2024. From 2020 till 2024, He served as the Deputy leader of Indian National Congress parliamentary party under Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. He had represented the Kaliabor Constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha and the 17th Lok Sabha from 2014 till 2024, after which the constituency was abolished. He is the son of former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi. He left his job at Airtel to join a Delhi-based NGO called Pravah in 2005.
