The German Wine Route or Wine Road (German: Deutsche Weinstraße, pronounced [ˌdɔʏtʃə ˈvaɪnˌʃtʁaːsə]) is the oldest of Germany's tourist wine routes. Located in the Palatinate region of the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, the route was established in 1935.
