Gillian Elizabeth Bird (born in Adelaide) is an Australian civil servant and diplomat who is the current ambassador to Vietnam since 2025. She served as the Australia's Ambassador to France from 2020 to 2024. Bird concurrently served as Australia's non-resident Ambassador to Algeria, Mauritania, and Monaco. She is a former Permanent Representative of Australia to the United Nations, serving between 2015 and 2019.
