Beta Canis Minoris (β Canis Minoris, abbreviated Beta CMi, β CMi), also named Gomeisa /ɡɒˈmaɪzə/, is a star in the constellation of Canis Minor. In the night sky it is notable for its proximity to the prominent star Procyon.
