Gornyak (Russian: Горня́к) is a town and the administrative center of Loktevsky District of Altai Krai, Russia, located 360 kilometers (220 mi) southwest of Barnaul, the administrative center of the krai. Population: 13,918 (2010 Census); 15,779 (2002 Census); 15,833 (1989 Soviet census). It was previously known as Zolotukha (until 1942). It lies adjacent to the Kazakhstan–Russia border.
