Great Kei Municipality (Xhosa: uMasipala wase Great Kei) is a local municipality within the Amathole District Municipality, in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The word Kei is of Khoikhoi origin, meaning "great/big". The municipality is named after the Great Kei River.
