Greenwich (/ˈɡrnwɪ/) was a town in Hampshire County, Massachusetts, United States. The town was disincorporated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1938 for the construction of the Quabbin Reservoir which was constructed to supply water to the metropolitan Boston area.
