Gregory Louis Fenves (born March 1, 1957) is an American structural engineer and academic administrator specializing in computational modeling and earthquake engineering. He is the 21st president of Emory University and previously served as the President of the University of Texas at Austin from 2015 to 2020.
Fenves was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2014 for contributions to computational modeling, the development of open-source software for earthquake engineering analysis and academic leadership.
