Gudermessky District (Russian: Гудерме́сский райо́н; Chechen: Гуьмсен кӏошт, Gümsen khoşt) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifteen in the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located in the east of the republic. Its administrative center is the town of Gudermes (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 78,108 (2010 Census); 71,082 (2002 Census); 45,136 (1989 Soviet census).
