Habib ibn Muzahir (Arabic: حبيب بن مظاهر الأسدي, romanized: Ḥabīb ibn Muẓāhir al-Asadī) of the Banu Asad clan was a companion of Ali, Hasan ibn Ali and Husayn ibn Ali. He was among those in Kufa who sent letters to Husayn ibn Ali, inviting him there. However, upon learning that the people of Kufa had broken their allegiance to Husayn, he left Kufa and joined Husayn. He was killed at the age of 75 while fighting in Husayn's army at Karbala.
