Helmand University (Pashto: هلمند پوهنتون) is located in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan, which is the capital of Helmand Province. It was established in 2006 and its current chancellor is Sheikh Hafiz Mavlawi Muhammad Nasim Haqqani. Helmand University has faculties of Economics, Agriculture and Education.
