Hermogenes of Tarsus

Hermogenes of Tarsus (Ancient Greek: Ἑρμογένης ὁ Ταρσεύς; fl.c. 170) was a Greek rhetorician, surnamed The Polisher (Ξυστήρ, xustḗr). He flourished in the reign of Marcus Aurelius (161–180 AD).
