Hervé Le Treut (born on 18 June 1956 in Toulon), is a French climatologist specialized in climate numerical simulation. He is member of the French Academy of Sciences and Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and was director of the Pierre-Simon-Laplace Institute (2008-2019).
