Wennigsen (German pronunciation: [ˈvɛnɪçsn̩] or [ˈvɛnɪksn̩] ⓘ) is a municipality in the district of Hanover, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated near the Deister hills, approx. 15 km southwest of Hanover.
