The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-Hyderabad or IIT-H) is a public technical university located in Kandi near the Sangareddy district in the Indian state of Telangana. As with all Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), IIT Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance.
IITH was founded in 2008 and is one of the fastest-growing institutes of higher education in India. It has been ranked consistently among the best academic institutions in India, with every institute ranked above it being at least 14 years older than it.
