Inspired by online school and quarantine, Glaive wrote the song with its producers and engineers, Cashheart, Glasear, Kidicarus, Kimj, and Whethan. Glaive recorded it himself in a Los Angeles studio as Prash 'Engine-Earz' Mistry handled the song's mixing and mastering.
