The Emirate of Asir (Arabic: إمارة عسير, romanized: Imarat 'Aseer) was a state located in the Arabian Peninsula. The Emirate was in the modern-day provinces of Asir and Jazan, in what is now southwestern Saudi Arabia, and extending to al-Hudaydah in northwestern Yemen.
