The Nacionalista Party (Filipino and Spanish: Partido Nacionalista; lit. 'Nationalist Party', NP) is a political party in the Philippines which is the oldest existing party in the country and in Southeast Asia. It is responsible for leading the country throughout most of the 20th century since its founding in 1907; it was the ruling party from 1935 to 1946 (under Presidents Manuel L. Quezon and Sergio Osmeña), 1953–1961 (under Presidents Ramon Magsaysay and Carlos P. Garcia) and 1965–1978 (under President Ferdinand Marcos). It was dubbed as the Philippines' "Grand Old Party".
